Description

The Planet Hollow Rotating Centre features a 5/16” bore for long hole boring. It is based on The Planet Standard Duty Rotating Centre and incorporates the twin high-quality deep groove ball-bearing races. It is also very useful for spindle turning, where there is a danger of the centre point splitting the stock. A removable 60-degree centre point is included for general turning operations.

The Set comprises:

  • Hollow Rotating Centre
  • Removable nose cone for use as a standard rotating centre
  • 325mm long centring rod for lining up the centre of a workpiece when the point is removed.

The Rotur Hollow Rotating Centre is machined from high-quality EN8M Steel. Available in 1MT and 2MT. Made in the UK by Planet Plus Ltd
