Description
The Rotur Hand Dog Punch is a unique tool to position your work accurately and save your drive centres from being damaged with a hammer or mallet. The precise Morse taper on a drive centre can easily be damaged when hit with a hammer, and can result in the centre not holding itself centrally in the lathe’s taper socket.
The prongs and point layout are identical to the popular Rotur 1″ 4-prong drive centres. This means the head pattern can be punched into your workpiece by hitting the end of the dog punch with a hammer. The drive centre will self-locate in the indentations left behind.
The Rotur drive centres are machined from high-quality EN8M Steel. The one-piece design ensures the integral points can’t work loose. Made in the UK by Planet Plus Ltd
